Tonight I spoke at the Bridgeville Borough Council meeting about how we could work together on issues like infrastructure and grant funding for first responders, recreation and local non-profits. There was a great story told during the meeting when a resident praised the job the public works crew did clearing the roads this past winter. Apparently the employees needed a piece of equipment that cost $600; instead of getting the borough to pay, they cashed in $598 worth of scrap metal they had saved to for the equipment themselves. Its always wonderful to hear about public servants at all levels take pride in the place they work and respect the taxpayers dollars; all the more reason Im excited to have Bridgeville as part of the 46th District!
