Tonight I will be hosting Bill ONeils Forgotten Forty Fives on WWSF (1220 Am & 102.3 FM) out of Sanford, Maine & WNBP (1450 AM & 106.1 FM) from Newburyport, Mass and over the internet from 7 until 9 PM. This Sunday on my radio show I will be playing quite a few songs either written, produced or on one of Bob Crewes labels including records you dont hear every day by The Four Seasons, Mitch Ryder, Diane Renay, & quite a few others including the Distant Cousins. Who? They were actually a studio group, the songwriting team of L. Russell Brown and Ray Bloodworth, who wrote hits for The Four Seasons (Cmon Marianne), Lesley Gore (Summer & Sandy) and Richard & The Young Lions (Open Up Your Door. Mr. Brown later wrote hits for The Partridge Family ( I Woke Up this Morning) and Dawn (dont ask). She Aint Lovin You was Top 5 in Cleveland and got a lot of airplay in September 1966 on WBZ. youtu.be/EH-VJEIXnck
