Tonight, Jon Stewart provided a very, very, very funny analysis of yesterdays House Committee on Oversight and Reform hearing. Interesting, though he failed to mention the awesome, out-of-this-world questions that Trey Gowdy asked IRS Commissioner John Koskinen. Instead Jon focused on the ridiculously small size of IRS e-mail boxes. Why? Because its his belief (and the belief of many liberals, I daresay) that the real scandal is the governments incompetence. Not exactly . . . Anybody with any common sense should recognize by now that the government is criminally incompetent. The real scandal revolves around the near-endless stonewalling and bullshit by an administration that just completely refuses to ever admit guilt, take responsibility and fire some dingbats. It just always feels like they are perpetually trying to evade the truth and protect someone. I know that sounds conspiratorial, but thats how these assholes come off to some of us. That, in my opinion, is the real scandal. However, Im young and still trying to figure out all this very complicated shit (as well as possibly somewhat schizophrenic, lol), so I could be wrong! IDK! Though I enjoy detective shows, Im actually not really that good at figuring shit like this out, lol! I got too many pundit voices in my head! // Anyway. Off to bed feeling stressed and overwhelmed. Writing for this new site is more stressful than writing for INQ, mainly because the pieces for this site have a far, far greater impact. According to my new editor, the folks who visit DownTrend tend to be hardcore right-wingers who hate RINOs. So yeah! Its a very delicate audience that I am trying to reach. And the quality of journalism must be more innovative and fresh than this amateur is used to dealing with. One piece of good days: I learned tonight that it took me a shorter time to wisen up than it did John Stossel. SMH. What a dumbass! (J/K!) Night! // Interesting last-minute share in the box.
