Tonight a friend, Vicky Becerra, brought us an awesome dinner, just because. This sparked a conversation between Ariel Zelico & I about friends & friendships and how the people we know play different roles in our lives. I choose to keep my friend list on the short side, by choice. I know many people and enjoy their company (most of them anyway). But, just knowing someone doesnt make them your friend. Some can be counted on 24/7 for anything, some are good for moral support or advice, some have been around since the beginning of time, some are good for conversating or hanging, and some are just around to take advantage of your kindness and because you are convenient when they need you. I dont get the chance to say it often, but thank you to those of you who are true friends & really, honestly care about me, Ariel, Ethan & Zara. You are family to us & we appreciate you for being a part of our lives.
