Tonight feels like I should be in Kentucky sitting on a front porch swing. Hearing the creaking of metal chains, the incessant buzzing of katydids And a glass of sweet tea. But the best of all my uncles Charlie and Butch telling stories. My aunt Martha calling their fluff on whatever is being said. A few cousins around to laugh at them. Mamwa and Papwa in their rocking chairs, the king and queen of Wrights road. Oh what I would give for one more night like that !
