Tonight i want to talk about consistency. People should not have to drive all the way across town to shop because we cant shop in our own living communities because we are not being treated equally. I had a come to Jesus meeting with the staff and management tonight at Randalls (Midtown Houston location) about their inconsistencies and unfairness to customers that patronize their store. I was in the store on Friday morning and I forgot my wallet at the house on accident and my phone number was not coming up in the system and they made a huge deal out of it and didnt want to give me the Discount from the card and there were 2 employees who know me well and i speak to them in depth every time i am there however there was an employee checking me out who was new or something that didnt know who i was but everyone else did and they told me that management was not letting them just scan a random new card for customers whether we know who you are or not. I was having an emergency situation and i had a client on the way and didnt have time for all of the drama anyway they eventually gave it to me but not without a lot of attention an embarrassment......Tonight i was in Randalls and 2 guys were in front of me and they didnt have their Randalls card. The employee walked over got a new card scanned it and handed it to the guys and they paid for their items and were on their way without being harassed about not having their Randall card..... i asked to speak to the management on duty and we talked in depth about the lack of consistency...... i am also going to talk to the store manager tomorrow as well as call corporate. This should not ever happen!!!
