Tonight, instead of sharing several NYC ACC stories of the death - TopicsExpress

Tonight, instead of sharing several NYC ACC stories of the death row survivors, I am going to celebrate the new life of only one, very special little boy: Benji. Benji is a little mutt, an adorable little mutt. He, like countless others, found himself locked within the walls of the NYC ACC, a sad place for little dogs like Benji - because once they are in, most dont go out, at least not alive. Benji was on his way to languishing away to a certain spot on the infamous daily death list when he was seen and rescued by Anarchy Animal Rescue. As rescues need fosters in order to do what they do, they reached out to my dear friend, Lisa Passaro-Pisano and asked if she could foster little Benji. Lisa didnt even blink and on May 29th Benji walked into the life, home and heart of Lisa and her family. Despite the instant love Lisa had for this furry little love-bug, the biggest love affair appears to be going on between Benji and Lisas husband, Joe! I know that whatever the future holds for Benji, that Lisa and Joe will make certain that he will never enter into another family who doesnt love him as much as they now do. And my sneaking suspicion? ... I think Joe might be a foster failure, when its all said and done! Time will only tell. But as for now, Benji is the apple of his fosters eyes, he is the Beau of the Ball, and he is most likely happier and more content than has ever been. Congratulations Benji! You hit the jackpot and you deserve it! Thank you to Lisa and Joe, for opening your hearts and your home and stepping up to foster this special little dog. Without fosters, so many of these wonderful dogs would be gone. Fostering saves lives, like Benjis. I am adding an album of Benjis photo journey from the day he entered Lisas home until today. He is quite the photogenic little man. Enjoy!
