Tonight is the UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY APPRECIATION PARTY Terminal - TopicsExpress

Tonight is the UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY APPRECIATION PARTY Terminal 110 and Keys To The City, there are some of my supporters that will not make it out so I have to take this time to recognize everyone that made this event a success. The vision of course came from a trip down to Bridgeport on a Thursday night to hear the Djs in the Park. I want to thank Mr. Larry Young for asking me to come out. While at this event all I could think about was my youth and the times spent at GOFFE STREET PARK. Dj D.j. White Flash, Billy Bush, Cool Keith, Dave David Daniels III, all playing sets on the crazy sound system of my man Tony Crush, I knew I had to bring it back to the Elm. In posting my thought on FB, my first hit came from Pepe Vega, and BigDee Image R, offering their assistance. Soon there after I spoke to my confidant Juan Castillo, and the plan was hatched. After meeting at the park with these three brothers as well as Clarence Ping Boyd, Kyle Sampson, Sean On Deck Reeves Sr.,Gary Holder-Winfield, & Michelle Green, I listened to the ideas and incorporated them with mines. BigDee, I appreciate you brother, you came up from Bridgeport and went as far as organizing other MCs to participate. CORE RIDERZ, as well as 203 showed major love. Big shout out to my man Jhunathyn Ellis, & the Commyssun MC for their support also. My childhood friend Mr. Anthony Bolden, & the Flaming Knights MC for their monetary support as well. Im not vested but you BROTHERS showed me nothing but LOVE. I appreciate you all. My fellow promoters of the neighborhood community events I salute you all. I know how much work, time & effort it takes to make such an event happen. Not only sometime is money an issue but even bigger than that is the non-support of others simply out of hate. I thank you all as well as people in your respective neighborhoods and the COMMUNITY at LARGE for staying the course and making things happen. Gary Gates, Howard Boyd, Alton Outlaw, , Krystal Kb Bethea, Alexander Ketchum, Pepe Vega, Smoke, Terez Pitt, Taneha Edwards, Clarence Ping Boyd, Earl Caple, Cavey, anyone I forgot no disrespect. Again I salute you all for putting in the work. To my man Steven Driffen, you were diligent in your research of vendors and sponsors. I thank you for all that you did to make this happen Brother. Everyone who knows me knows what organization Im a part of, so I need not say anymore on the support I expected but sadly it never came around. This was not a personal event of mine, it was for our Community, hopefully one day soon some of you will put aside personal issues and show some support. Remember people are always watching and paying close attention. BROTHER _ HOOD, neighbor_ hood, equals COMMUNITY. I want to thank the following frat brothers that did extend their cable tows to me. Kyle Sampson, Leonard Jahad, Moe Carrington,Terrence Fredlaw & his son Brandon Shaquille Fredlaw. Also two of my business brothers, Howard K. Hill & Darrell McClam. I thank you all for the LOVE & SUPPORT. Shout out to Inner City News & my Homie Babz, when other news outlets didnt deem this of importance, you stood by our vision. Your appreciated. My Cooks & Servers really outdid themselves, Larry & Lamont Young on the fish, Erving Mewborn & Timmy on the grill. Sherry Bostic Sherry Bostic-Mewborn, husband Greg Mewborn & there lovely daughter, Michelle Collins, & my baby sister Apologist Marcey Lynn Jones, you along with the music providers were the heart of the event. From the bottom of my heart I thank you all, Im glad that you were on the UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY TEAM. I received a call from Brother Rahsaan Langley, he told me he had heard about the event and although he had a prior engagement, he changed up some times and pledged his time to coming out to Bless us with his and the Bands presence.I want to say thank you guys, you really set the tone for the rest of the day.
