Tonight our cat George was attacked & mauled by 2 neighbours dogs. After a trip to the emerg vet were pretty lucky overall with minor injuries. Tomorrow we plan to get the full story from the neighbours who witnessed it but it sounded like the dogs got loose out of their yard & headed straight for George. Were debating asking the dog owners for at least partial compensation of the vet bill. Unsure what is fair when our cat was outside, not in our yard, but their dogs also should have been contained. Thoughts anyone?
