Tonight our whippet River was hit by a car in our street. Now the person who hit her apparently never stopped and kept going !!!!! THANKFULLY an Angel was following this idiot and he stopped and took our girl to the vets. My 12yr old daughter and I learned of this while driving home from gymnastics on speaker phone. I know this was an accident but whoever was driving I hope you feel terrible for not stopping !!!!! Now our girl isnt out of the woods and prob wont be till at least Monday. This happened on bamboo drive, she has jumped our fence before but weve been working very hard to supervise her outside time (as shes an indoor dog mostly) unfortunately our back laundry door hadnt closed fully and thats how she got out into the yard. My main reason for this post is to thank the man who stopped, even if River passes away she will do so pain free.
