Tonight was a special on at work tonight, two of our tables (one comes in once a month and one who only makes it in about once every other year) who have been coming in for 15 years both dined in tonight. So cool to have seen their children grow from infants into pre teens. On the way out, one of the gentleman shook my hand and said, buy your cooks a beer on me tonight and shoves a bill into my hand. I said I would and smiled, as every once in a while the guest leave a little something for the kitchen, and didnt think anything of it put the bill in my pocket. About five minutes later I remembered the bill and went into the office to get change to tip out the cooks. The man had slipped me a hundred! There are some really happy cooks drinking on a very generous man tonight. Thanks wherever you are.
