Tonight was pretty awesome: we sat at my grandparents dining room table that they passed down to me (Same table I sat at every Thanksgiving until my grandfather died) and we ate off of the gorgeous china my father sent to my aunt while he was in the army in the 1950s. Although neither my grandfather nor my father are still here, it made me smile to know that they both were included at the table tonight. (Looking at the fantastic dinner I made, Id like to think my grandfather instilled in me his amazing ability to cook.......and Im so thankful I dont cook like my dad. Lol.)
