Tonights event, recently self-proclaimed as Americas (Secretly) Best 1 Act Festival of other peoples songs and the premiere experimental and underground cover band concert in America, is celebrating its 3/4ths Anniversary this September, 4-5. Featuring exactly 1 bands over 2 calendar days in downtown Raleigh, the monthly show is known for adventurous lineups, memorable performances, and a fan-friendly atmosphere. From a piece of the floor near the front window behind a velvet rope acting as the main stage off of Fayetteville street, the festival offers music written by no one involved in almost every genre imaginable—rock, hip-hop, metal, folk, electronic, experimental, and more—and its schedule highlights this diversity each month. From its inception in 2014, The Restless shows at The Big Easy have been a signature event for the creative community of Raleigh, North Carolina. Approximately 100% of the festival’s performers hail from in-town—a figure few, if any, nationally recognized music festivals can claim. With official programming stretching across 1 walkable venues, tonight is a city-wide celebration for locals and fans visiting from faraway locales.
