Toniks, Cindy Bounced At Konshens’ Party Singers Toniks and Cindy were on Thursday night bounced as they tried to access Club Venom in Kabalagala, Kampala for the Konshens ‘Greet and Meet’ party. The Tugende Tukyekole singer appeared at the Club at 10pm with a colleague before heading straight to the entrance. However, as he was making his way inside, he was asked for a ticket which he didn’t have. Toniks tried checking his name on the guest list in vain. He also tried persuading the mean-looking bouncers to let him in but the muscular men stood their ground. It remains unclear why the singer did not fork out shs50, 000 to access the nightclub’s VIP section. He chose to stand at the entrance for over 40 minutes waiting for the bouncers to change their mind. It was not until the intervention of a staff from Venom that Toniks managed to access the club. He was seen taking a deep breath after being rescued. Unlike Toniks, Cindy couldn’t bear the burden of waiting from outside after she was blocked from accessing the Club’s VIP wing. Like Toniks, her name was not on the guest list. She used the ordinary wing’s entrance from where she was only charged Shs.20, 000. Revelers were shocked that top musicians could be treated in such a manner.
