Tony just came in and told me snow flakes are falling outside. I guess its true that thunder alone in winter can also bring snow in 7 to 10 days. Or maybe there was also lightning on the other side of our house. We were just to sleepy or lazy to go check both sides and find out. It surely did jar this house though. Needless to say all our dogs jumped on the bed with us. We just had to make the best of it. Its possible to use a standard poodle for a pillow, if you have to. But its terrible when a pit/Boston bull dog tries to use your head for a pillow. Monroe weighs so much and snores. She is always chasing something in her dreams. Everytime she moves it makes our tiny jack russell growl because he has declaired himself king. Lord and master of the Rice household. His name is Buddy Hodges. My brother rescued him. He has my brothers personality too. Good thing we love our brothers so much, their dogs are our dogs. But. Heavy thunder, firekrackers or gunshots cause a chinesefiredrill if its bedtime with them. Life on Noahs landlocked ark, with canines and cocatiels looking to spot any sign of water on the horizon. Someday this ship will sail I hope. If not I hope a couple of apache helicopters pick it up and drop it in the middle of lake Betsy on a barge. My cane pole is going to waste. Fish dont bite outside my bedroom window like they did in the gulf of Mexico.
