While reiterating shutdown call on September 15 Syed Ali Geelani added, although with these the people had to bear financial loss and added however we are left with this option only to express our solidarity with the afflicted families and convey hurt feelings and our woeful agonies to international community. While thanking people for their support and cooperation for making the strike call successes, Syed Ali Geelani in his appeal asked to observe complete shutdown on Sunday, saying the occupation of Indian forces over Jammu and Kashmir, is root cause for mayhem and innocent and unarmed youth are being brutally killed by its rude forces. Syed Ali Geelani in his statement stated that CRPF on September 7 went berserk and killed four youth in Shopian without any justification and followed by killing a school bus driver Mohammad Rafiq Rather. In Redwani Kulgam the SOG thrashed Amir Ahmad severely and resulted in grievous injury to his neck and now battling for his life in Soura hospital. Syed Ali Geelani expressed his deep concern over pathetic situation in valley and in District Shopian in particular added that since last one month the three districts of south kashmir are besieged and curfew and other restriction have caused a mayhem in these localities. We have appealed the nation to demonstrate soliderty and sympathy with the people living in these districts on September 14 &15, said Syed Ali Geelani .The suppressed nation has accepted and acted wholeheartedly and demonstrated their commitment and expressed solidarity with the people of south kashmir ,and for which I am grateful for their cooperation and dedication they exhibited , and hope they will demonstrate the same spirit on September 15.It is our moral obligation to reach our people in Shopian and Redwani but ruthless and brutal occupant forces does not permit even to mourn or wail for those brutally killed by forces. The oppressed people should realize that since 1947 the root of all suffering and troubles is the military occupation of India, said Syed Ali Geelani and added that first priority for oppressed nations should to get rid the forced occupation .Syed Ali Geelani warned people about pro- occupation political parties and stressed to snap all ties with these and keep away from their shrewd tactics and added that activities like construction of flyovers and roads are acts of their deceptive politics and aimed at to deviate people from their righteous path . Syed Ali Geelani said that deliverance and freedom is possible if we maintain distance at individual and collective level from them and asked to abstain from vote politics and not to provide political support or cast votes in their favour.Syed Ali Geelani expressed his deep concern that people in Shopian,. Kulgam and Islamabad were not allowed to offer Friday prayers on September 13 and added that it has now proved that with their military might they even prevent us from offering our religious obligations. Hurriyat chairman while refuting so- called investigation in Shopian massacre stressed to lift curfew restriction without any further delay and added that the investigation conducted by state administration are mere eyewash and people are aware that all these investigations are fraud and an act to deceive the masses . Taking dig at United Nations for their negligence and the criminal silence maintained by international community, Syed Ali Geelani urged that Tribunal for War Crimes should come forward and investigate the excesses committed by Indian forces and safeguard the basic human rights and life and honor of the oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir.
