Too bad the officiating was such a part of the game. Regardless, Green Bay proved that today, they are the better team in all facets of the game, including Coaching. Tretsman knew that if the Bears were going to win, then they would need to be aggressive with some of the play calling - like the onside kick. I can honestly say that I liked the gutsy call. Having that said, we were overmatched. Yes, defense was not great. No one should expect a 4 man rush - who do minimal stunting - to pressure Rogers against 5 linemen and for the most part, a blocking back. No blitzing on passing downs at all? Is that against the rules now? sheesh. Sure, offense put up big numbers except where it counts the most - points. Second most important stat - lost the turnover battle. Short field on the 2 interceptions and a 3rd time with the failed onside kick. Lastly, Jay had nice command of hte offense for the first 45% of the game. Outstanding. But cmon...joking with the opposing QB when your team is behlnd? Really? Shouldnt you be in the huddle strategizing about the next 2 or 3 plays? Not cool, Jay. It looks really shitty. because its a really shitty thing to do. No concept of being a good teammate. It looks like u dont care - at all. Not to your teammates and not to the Bear fans. I hope tomatoes are hurled at you tomorrow during your live radio show and that the team corrects things internally...embarrassing. 1-10 against GB in your career? Ride the pine when we travel up North. better yet, sit in the stands with Rogers fan club and joke with them about how much the Bears are overpaying you.
