Too bad those of us who spend so much time researching and raising awareness couldnt do this as a full-time job or should I say paying job. It would be my dream job, no matter how much or how little it paid. I would be satisfied and content at the end of each day that that Im doing my part in helping raise awareness and fighting for justice. But no government agency would every fund this kind of work and let us work on our own terms so heres to all the volunteers that do this work without expecting anything back in return. And heres to working the day job all weekend since I took yesterday off lol And I just realized its been almost a year since I started my database & research for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Males (inc infants, boys, youth, men, Elders, gay, trans, two-spirited). Topped the 700 mark not too long ago. What a journey this past year has been.
