Too much federal control of education. Get rid of common core, the department of education period. Teach children how to read and do math. Teach the basics until they master them. Then add the extra things. Technology changes every day. Quit worrying about the state the art schools. Work on school safety, so that school becomes a place children want to go to. Make learning exciting again, not a daily set of guidelines to get through for a test. Get rid of the politically correct garbage that seems to be the primary focus of the left.
