Took Wolf to the vet, very bad news, he has hip dysplasia so bad, his passenger-side back hip is almost out of its socket. The vet said the only thing we could do was pain management, and estimated another 2-3 years of life for him. BUT, M looked it up on the web, and UW and Ohio State both do lots of dog hip replacements. So were going to call the universities for a vet recommendation to evaluate him. I hope the prognosis will be good, it seems that it will. I was so upset Friday, but am much happier now, that dog is such a nutcase and I love him so much.
