Took a test drive demo for this song, which will be the last song on my record. I was going to ask my daughter to do a harmony (not realizing she knew this song yet), and when we began this test demo to see about final arrangement, I just let her sing it, and we both played guitar. This is a very new song by our friend Matt Minigell who we think is one of the most amazingly gifted young singer/songwriters around. Matt has helped me so much on my new record, and his songwriting is getting better and better. Anyway, we wanted to dedicate a song to (and inspired by) Elliott Smith. I will be doing this one on the new record, but Annabelle did such a beautiful job I thought Id share it with you. She and Matt are such big fans of Elliott and both of their love of him sort of brought us all together. Hope you like this. I think its amazing. (PS...I also hope Im able to pull this song off on my new record...but, I doubt it.) Thank you to Jeffrey Legreca , Michael (Coba Seas) Matt, and especially all you guys who Kicked this start, and are still holding on to the faith that this dam record will one day be done.
