Took another tour of the Goliath roller coaster construction site - TopicsExpress

Took another tour of the Goliath roller coaster construction site this morning. The crew is still working on the turnaround with the overbanked turn - looks like its topped off, today they were hoisting support beams for the track. Told by the park that the train should only lose about 9mph from its top speed at the bottom of the first drop when it hits the top of the overbank. That means youll be going about 60mph with your feet over your head in that turn. The last photo is the old Wolfs Den Snacks stand at the old entrance to Iron Wolf. RIP! Really amazing to see the construction team at work on such a dynamic project. Ill try to get out there again in a few weeks. They say they are still on track for a late May opening, even with the rough winter weve had.
