Took my car in today to see how much it would cost to fix after someone rear ended Ryan in it on Saturday. The body shop estimator said it will be a total loss. And in Washington the law states I am to get fair market value for my car. Looked online to find a car of the same make, model & year and the cheapest one I could find was $3000 on Autotrader. Ryan also went in to the dr and has a lower lumbar strain. Now bowling for him for at least a week, light duty at work and muscle relaxers & heat to help him heal. I keep thanking our lucky stars that 1) he wasnt hurt worse, 2) the driver who hit him eventually returned to the scene and cooperated and 3) the other driver did have insurance. Now its a matter of crossing our fingers that the insurance adjuster offers us what it will cost to replace our car.
