Took the kids to the farmers market today & they learned from a guy about raising cattle & processing them for beef. They learned about the different foods available locally. Then the big one was they learned that few accept credit cards. They deducted that that could be a factor in who to buy from when more than one person sells the same thing. We then bought a pound of ground beef & came home & made home made beef stroganoff. All the kids helped make it, measuring, stirring, etc. Then they said it was the best they ever had...because THEY helped make it! :) Now they all want to take turns making dinner each week. Lol
