Toolroom Engineer £Negotiable Sunderland Permanent We are looking to recruit a Toolroom Engineer for a Manufacture Company based in Sunderland. The role will involve the manufacture of jigs, fixtures and tooling for production as well as sample / prototype development. Duties will include: *Manufacture of jigs and fixtures. *Manufacture of bend machine tooling. *Manufacture of end form tooling. *Manufacture of general tooling. *General tooling/jig/fixture repairs. *Routine maintenance. *Undertake other continuous improvement projects as appropriate. *Undertake other product development work as and when required. *Other reasonable duties for which you are trained and competent. *Carry out duties in accordance with TS 16949. *Working with centre lathe, milling machine, pillar drill, radial arm drill, pedestal drill, and Clarkson cutter / grinder. Candidates applying will be qualified in Production/Mechanical Engineering and be familiar with operation of milling machine, lathes and traditional engineering equipment.
