Top 50 Movie Villains - #46 Esther, Isabelle Fuhrman, Orphan The “creepy kid film” is a genre of horror film that has been done to death. You could say it’s deader than the curious and concerned neighbor that dies in every single one of them. Then Orphan came along, and gave us a creepy kid, played by Isabelle Fuhrman, who’s original and, more importantly, pretty badass. She is twisted and manipulative, with the most violent of tendencies. I actually wish her body count had been higher, in fact, as Esther is just so good at being awful (well, she could at least have done in her annoying foster brother, played by Hollywood’s favorite idiot child Jimmy Bennett).
