Top o the mornin all! And a Happy St. Paddys Day it is! I have on my green kiss me Im Irish necklace. I dont have to pretend to be Irish today, I was born that way. But anyone who wants to be a 24 hour Irishman, more power to ya! And since I refuse to drink ANYTHING green, I forgo the beer. I read the bar tab for the big Boston parade was 225 million. Thats nuts! We had a smidge of snow over night, just enough for the pansy ass schools to give a delay. I didnt even need 4WD and my Durango doesnt handle for crap in the slightest stuff without it. The roads had been cindered and were clear. I mostly walked to school back in the day and it was very rare indeed for delays or closings. And my mother was in no way shape or form going to bundle herself up to take me to school. We were real and had to suck it up. I think I was the last generation before it became all the rage to coddle. I dont subscribe to that way of thinking. It is really cold. I was glad I had gloves or my fingers would have froze fast to the steering wheel. Ken said there are flower shoots coming up in the big flower bed. Theres hyacinths in there and tulips for now. By May I will have quite a bit more in there. Ive been wanting to do something for the last 3 years. I put my foot down on his and made him commit to it this year. I do not play in dirt. I supervise. My husband is my super hero. The man has enough energy for ten men and I have a small amount of energy in my pinky fingernail. Amazingly it works beautifully. We have 4 more days till Spring. Theres so much to look forward to in Spring. The Reading museum has the most beautiful gardens, the walk is so soothing, they have huge wind chimes hung way up in the trees and the wide creek runs the whole way through. The flowering trees, and all the flowering plants along the walkways. The azaleas all around my house in different colors, green grass, and the first camping trip of the season, cooking on the grill again, and campfires! I love every season for the joys they bring. Have a wonderful day, Brightest Blessings!
