Torah Thought For Today News Item: A few weeks ago, I began to offer the opportunity to sponsor the TTFT, and thank G-d the response has been overwhelming. Apart from the primary purpose of this - which is to give you all an ownership of these daily nuggets of Torah wisdom, I mentioned that I would use the monies raised for a Beit Midrash Morasha Mitzva project that I would share with you. Well, the first project I have is the Shma. For a long time, I have wanted to encourage people to learn the Shma better - its one of our most precious and focal prayers, and yet unless we say it together out loud (as some schools do) many people never learn it. Also, people sometimes struggle with the Hebrew. So I have made a Shma Page and slow videos with Hebrew and phonetics so that you can learn.
