Torrie Update: Torrie is now at our vets getting her biopsies done and most likely removing the mass on her upper hind leg and sending that out for pathology. I get emails from where I get her meds and one place, Vet Depot in todays email was an article on atopic dermatitis. Torrie had been eating pine branches and dead pine needles and rubbing her body in them, even though we were out in the yard with her and told her no repeatedly and took the branches out, but you know dogs! That was the first week in January all dogs were outside and shortly after the bumps started to appear. The last four days on antibiotics seems to have had an effect on the bumps. There are different forms of dermatitis but hopefully this will be the diagnosis and can be treated. Will talk to vet when we pick up Torrie. Either way, in a few days we will have the pathology report and will have some news.
