Totally disgusted by the attitude of leftist political parties whod prefer to deal with those who represent everything they say theyre against, than make practical arrangements to gain ongoing support from people who are at least somewhat like-minded. Do I want womens reproductive rights, the environment and social support networks managed by the likes of the Shooters and the religious right? Of course not, and neither do most voters, as the polling for such simple minded outfits rarely rates double digits. Yet because of some kind of historical perceived insult and the fear that a gang of media bully boys will call them names, thats what the ALP and the LNP insist on dealing into government in state after state. And who pays the price for that? Women, disadvantaged people, those who care about social justice and the environment. And then the major parties wonder why their base numbers continue to decline and decline ...
