Tottenham Hotspur Foundation recently visited India and engaged with Special Olympics Bharat to develop the next generation of coaches in the country. These coaches who received Premier league standard training, would in turn help train the Special Olympic athletes as they prepare for the Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles 2015. The #FootballForSocialChange training camps were held across the country and with the help of THF coaches Gareth Jones and Daniel Slaughter, more than 300 coaches were trained as a part of this initiative. India Spurs echoed the support shown by Tottenham Hotspur and had members present during the 3 day session held on 18-20th September to assist the coaches and Special Olympics Bharat.
