Tottington High school field has become a weekend hotspot, for underage drinking, drug taking and extensive littering and Anti social behaviour. Since the beginning of the summer holidays Tottington high school has repeatedly become the place for youths to meet up and create disorder until the early hours of the morning.The youths are not only causing disorder but they are putting themselves in serious danger, with youths getting so intoxicated that they require medical attention. Over recent weeks we have arrived at the school field to over 200+ youths, who are all participating in this anti social event. Parents have been driving down to the bottom of LAUREL ST/SOUTH ROYDS ST, dropping and collecting these youths off. Officers are speaking with parents about the issues and their personal responsability. Many of the youths are from outside Tottington and these events are being organised via Facebook and social media. This is a pre emtive warning that Tottington high school will be under serious surveillance, offences will be dealt with and parents will be held responsible for their childrens actions. Please adhere to these warnings, and help us in preventing the serious escalation of this problem in Tottington. Feel free to circulate this warning to anyone who may have teenage children.
