Tough day for Gideon. Lots & lots of seizures both big & small. Rescue meds are only available every 24 hours so nothing we could to stop them today. Pain was quickly controlled this morning however this evening he had breakthrough pain that has taken extra meds to get him comfortable again. Talked with OHSU several times today. Slowing down the titration off one of his scheduled meds. Going up on one of his rescue meds. The idea is if we give him a larger dose initially he wont need the 2nd dose. Hoping this helps him be more comfortable. He has the hiccups tonight but is otherwise as comfortable as we can get him. Thankful we can still give him comfort, unfortunate that it doesnt last very long.
