Tourism benefits. 1.Source foreign currency, 2.Improve life standard for the local people 3.Improvement of social service like Infrastructure, education, Health service, clean water supply. 4.Employment creation 5.Conservation of Natural resources 6.Maintenance of biodiversity, 7.Recreational places provision 8.Regional development 9.relation and enjoyments. 10. Research 11. Increasing international relations 12.Cross cultural exchange 13. Cultural development and restoration These are just some positive impact of tourism. On the other hand we still have Banach of negative impacts like 1. Soil compaction 2.Loss of biodiversity 3. Change of geological regime 4. destruction of plants through direct removal, introduction of invasive species, direct trampling by vehicles through off road drives 5. loss of breeding sites, feeding sites, disturbance of prey predator relationships 6. Destruction of Nutrient cycles like Hydrogen, carbon, phosphorus. 7.Environmental pollution, water, air, soil, noise pollution, These are just some and the above list is not exhaustive. As the stakeholder within your area, where are you doing good? some areas the negative impacts might be even higher than the benefits. What do you think should be done within your area?
