Tournament results for my dread heavy list (full 1500 list in previous post): Came in either 4th or 3rd overall, didnt actually play the two winners but I know they were fielding Grey Knights and Ultramarines respectively. Game 1: Wolves 13 - Iron Hands 8 Bjorns helfrost cannon one shots a chapter master on a bike thanks to the strength test. Murderfang again demonstrates that he is a MUST TAKE for his super cheap cost. What a terror. Game 2: Wolves 7 - Dark Eldar 9 Fear the Dark Lance. He held all the objectives through turn 4 until I had slowly wiped him out unit by unit. Game ended with only his foot slogging warlord left, so Pyrrhic victory. Game 3: Wolves 21 - Necrons 8 Early Gauss volleys were problematic but once I got stuck in, they fell like chaff before the wind. His warlord took down Murderfang after the Curseborn slaughtered 8 Immortals in one round of combat. Spartan quad lascannons made short work of his Ctan. He ended the game with one squad of Lichguard and I held all six objectives. Take away: mobility is a bit of an issue with the list, but not firepower. With an Iron Priest fixing my Spartan on a 2+, everyone mostly tried to ignore it. It only took two HP the whole tournament and both were fixed next round. Murderfang is a beast. Bjorn is as well.
