Town Council mtg 7/2/14 -Hannah Bleier has resigned, with regrets, from her position as Planning Board Clerk. The Planning Board is now looking for a new part-time clerk. Contact Bonnie Seegmiller at 363-2752 if interested. -Spring Brook Rd – stream work -The Constitution Pipeline and the Tennessee Gas Pipeline want to both be in the same area. They are separate projects. -Municipal shelter inspection by Humane Society – satisfactory -FEMA projects continue, Holiday Brook Rd complete except for bridge. He town has signed interest free notes for this which will be repaid when reimbursement from FEMA is received. -Cooks Falls Rd – still needs guardrail installed $15000 over blue book amount of $59,200. Embankment/soil Nail system project approved Water district - nothing new -TRacS computer - verbal confirmation of one -2014 Ford Sedan Police Interceptor AWD – delivered 7-2 -Time Warner – nothing new -Dvlle Water district – corrosion control treatment proposal to DOH. Waiting to hear about samples sent in -2014 Dodge Ram truck ordered from Robert Green Truck Division Waiting for it -2015 Freightliner with plow and box – ordered -Bonacic grant waiting to hear -Constitution pipeline grant – waiting -NY Main St grant - waiting -Housing Rehabilitation program – waiting -Web Page – nothing is happening with this -Cooks Falls Court – remote banking and PO – training online July 10 -Union negotiations – Mtg July 15 9:30 a -Delaware County Youth Program – Town can hire someone 14 and 20 -Old police car – dealing with it now -Dvlle Covered Bridge – Desperately needs traffic regulation. Passenger cars only, one vehicle of any kind (e.g. car, snow mobile) at a time, weight limit. If changes are not made, county will close it -Campbell Mtn Rd very dangerous. Damage estimate township- wide is $3.2 million. Doesn’t qualify for FEMA. Worst case scenario is that town will use the highway surplus to cover it. Slope failure here is a major problem. Very dangerous and very expensive -New computer will be bought for Police to run the TRac system -July 23 6 – 7:30 Free rabies clinic in Colchester at highway garage 6292 River Rd. -There are problems in the park. Garbage is a major problem. People are driving on the grass to get to the water to launch boats. Gazebo must be fixed. Should park be better lighted and open only from dawn to dusk? -Water main – no leaks -Pool is okay
