Tracing your Caribbean ancestors Saturday 22nd March 2-4pm at Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, Jordan Well, Coventry, CV1 5QP A master class for anyone interested in tracing their family history by Who Do You Think You Are? Live speaker Carlston Walters. Drawing on his own experience of tracing his Caribbean ancestors this is a practical and engaging event. The National Archives Caribbean Through a Lens exhibition will also be on display during the event. The photographs in this exhibition form part of a collection commissioned by the Ministry of Information during the 1950s and 1960s to illustrate the geography and way of life in the Caribbean. It features archive images from across the islands including Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad. Bring someone from another generation and receive a set of Caribbean Through a Lens postcards.
