Valentine Lavillenie cleared 540 in the pole vault and Killian Durechou improved in javelin to 79.98. Muriel Hurtis won the 300 m in 38.77 and Emmanuel Biron the 150 m in 15.90. World discus medalist Melina Robert-Michon achieved 58.72. ARTASHAT (ARM, Sep 18): Russian Aleksandr Petrov won the 12th edition of Robert Emmiyan Cup, a long jump meet, hosted in Artashat city stadium. With 790 he was just 1 cm ahead of Armenian Vardan Pahlevanyan. Strong result for third and fourth: Gor Nerkararyan from Armenia (787) and Romanian Adrian Vasile (786). KUMAGAYA (JPN, Sep 21-22): During 61st National Corporate Championships good sprints by Sota Kawatsura 10.24 (+1.3, over Masashi Eriguchi 10.30) and Kenji Fujimitsu 20.60 (-0.2). In the relay Sumitomo Electric beat in 39.47 the teams of Fujitsu 39.48 and Mizuno 39.49. Also good 400 m hurdles wins for Mahau Suguimati 49.87 and Satomi Kubokura 56.74. Kenyan Jonathan Ndiku won the steeple in 8:27.89 and Daichi Sawano cleared 550 in the pole vault. Walking winners at 10 000 m on the track posted quality times - Hirooki Arai 40:27.89 and Kumi Otoshi 44:22:56. GDANSK (POL, Sep 21): Talented 400 m runner and European junior silver medalist Patryk Dobek (19) improved at the 400 m hurdles to 50.67 in his second race at the distance ever. In the flat 400 m his best is 46.15. BRNO (CZE, Sep 21): Turkish Fenerbahce won the boys European Champion Clubs Cup for Juniors A group with 126 points ahead of title defenders Shaftesbury Harriers 96 and 2010 and 2011 winners Spanish Playas de Castellon 95 points. Fourth home side Slavia Praha 94 ahead of Mass Ljubljana 79 and Tampere of Finland 71. Relegation for Lithuanian Klaipeda 67 and Slovak Stavbar Nitra 52 points. The organising club Olymp Brno won the girls category with 112 points over title defenders Fenerbahce of Turkey 109 and British Bromley Harriers 106. Fourth Playas de Castellon 82 and fifth 2011 winners Atletica Studentesca of Italy with 81 points. Sixth position for Oberthurgau of Switzerland 69 and relegation for Estonian Nomme 62 and Amager of Denmark 59. From individual results to note fast 200 m for Diana Asher-Smith from Britain 23.38 (+2.4), Stina Troest from Denmark 2:08.60 in the 800 m and Czech Rebeka Silhanova 405 in the pole vault. On the boys side 2011 World youth medalist Ozkan Baltaci from Turkey got 74.69 with 6 kg hammer and Czech Jan Kubes 72.27 in javelin. LEIRIA (POR, Sep 21): Italian Atletia Studentesca won the boys European Champion Clubs Cup for Juniors B group with 83 points and together with second Sport Lisboa e Benfica of Portugal 72 gained promotion into the A category for 2014. Close third Sparta of Denmark also 72 ahead of Audentes of Estonia 69, Lycurgus from Netherlands 51 and Lausanne 48. Mass Ljubljana and Tampere topped the girls competition with 77 and 72 points. Here third Sport Lisboa e Benfica with 71 points, just one point behind promotion. Fourth Stavbar Nitra from Slovakia 65, fifth Dijon from France 57 and sixth Netherlands AV´34 with 53 points. Swiss Bastien Mouthon clocked 21.46 (+0.2) in the 200 m and Dutch Meno Vloon won the hurdles 14.10 (0.0) and cleared five meters in the pole vault. IBIRAPUERA (BRA, Sep 21-22): Solid sprints at Brazilian junior championships as Luis Gabriel Silva won the 100 m in 10.32 (+3.0) and Vitor Hugo the 200 m in 20.79 (-1.3). Tamiris De Liz topped girls sprints in 11.52 (+0.8) and 24.06 (-2.0). CHACO (ARG, Sep 21): Jaoquin Gomez the South American youth hammer record holder won the national junior title with 73.05 (6 kg) national junior record. FRANKISCH-CRUMBACH (GER, Sep 21): Hammer world record holder Betty Heidler won a three way fight in Power Sport with 72.59 in hammer and 34.53 with weight throw.
