Traffic ADVISORY - July 12, 2013 A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic for asphalt paving along a number of highways in Trigg County starting on Monday, July 15, 2013. Some preliminary work may start this weekend. State highways in the contract include: KY 128/ Wallonia road from KY 1507 at mile point 4.464 extending northwest to KY 124 at mile point 7.283, a distance of 2.82 miles. KY 276/Hurricane Road from KY 274 at mile point 0.0 extending northeast to KY 778 at mile point 2.338, a distance of 2.43 miles KY 525/New Hope Road from KY 1253 at mile point 3.075 extending northwest to New Hope Church Road at mile point 5.448, a distance of 2.37 miles. KY 1585/Caledonia-Pee Dee road from the Trigg-Christian County line extending northwest to KY 272 at mile point 4.604, a distance of 4.6 miles. Paving may not necessarily be completed in order listed. Progress is subject to change due weather and other issues. Motorists who regularly travel these routes in Trigg County should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are working along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow. Rogers Group, Inc, is the prime contractor on this $735, 244 group highway improvement project. The project completion date is November 30th.
