Traffic Alert: November 17, 2014 VTrans would like to keep you informed of construction activities related to the following project: · Stowe VT 108 Bridge Reconstruction Stowe - VT 108 Bridge Reconstruction AOT Project No. BRF 0235(1) Project Location The VT 108 Bridge (Bridge No. 2) is located on VT 108 approximately 350 feet north of the intersection of VT 100 and VT 108 in Stowe. Bridge Closure November 18-20, 2014 The bridge will be closed to motorists and pedestrians from 6:00 am Tuesday, November 18th through Thursday, November 20th, 2014 so crews can relocate water lines. A notice will be issued Thursday when the bridge re-opens. Detour A marked detour will be in effect during the three day closure. Motorists traveling to Route 108 from Route 100 will be detoured to West Hill Road to Mayo Farm Road to Weeks Hill Road to Route 108. Those traveling on Route 108 to Route 100 will be detoured to Weeks Hill Road to Mayo Farm Road to West Hill Road to Route 100. Uniformed Traffic Officers will be present during daytime hours at the Route 100/108 intersection, Route 100/West Hill Road intersection and Route 100/Weeks Hill Road intersection to assist motorists while the detour is in effect. Businesses located on VT 108/Mountain Road in Stowe will be open and accessible throughout the 3-day closure. Please focus on safety when driving through the construction work zone.
