Duties: The successful candidate will work under supervision of the Qualified Traffic Officer in performing duties listed as follows: Perform activities / tasks associated with maintaining law, order, safety and security in the overload control environment through the application of road traffic and other related relevant legislation Perform duties as part of overloading control, including patrolling escape routes, directing heavy motor vehicles to and at the weighbridge, collecting data from vehicles to provide to scale masters, and any other task relevant to overload control within the successful candidate’s legislated mandate, as instructed by the Qualified Traffic Officer Complete procedural documentation (vehicle log sheets, statements, inspection checklist) inserting appropriate details Compile monthly submission reports to the assigned Traffic Officer.
