Traffic Police booked 17 violators CNS: Continuing its drive against the traffic violators, the traffic police Ganderbal have booked 17 violators found involved in various traffic offences. DySP Traffic Ganderbal, Zahid Lone told CNS the traffic police has tightened its noose against the persons found involved in careless driving and without proper legal document. “In past two days, we have booked 17 traffic violators,” Lone said, adding, “We have realized 7150 rupees fine from those found involved in traffic offenses.” Lone said the drive will continue in the district and advised the motorists to drive their vehicles on roads with due care. “Otherwise stringent action will be taken against them,” DySP said. Last week, the traffic police Ganderbal continued with its drive against violators and penalized 39 violatros by realizing 15, 600 rupees as a fine from them. (CNS)
