Traffic & Travel - Roadwork Watch: Belwood Road will be closed for four weeks from tomorrow to allow the upgrading of the water main. The stretch of road between the A701 and Belwood Crescent will not be accessible between the 19 August and 13 September with access to Belwood from Mauricewood Road only. Scottish water will also be carrying out repairs and upgrades on the A702 at Easter Howgate. This could cause some rush hour delays until the twenty-third. Finally to top this all off, Midlothian Council will be carrying out works at the Belwood Road/A702 junction. These commence tomorrow and will end on Friday. Take note for your morning commute as both the A701 and A702 could have delays.
