Traffic backed up for 1/2 a mile because a lost husky thought it was appropriate to sit in the middle of the road! Several different people tried to coax him onto the grass, but he wanted absolutely nothing to do with that. A nearby homeowner took a piece of twine or rope and attached a piece of meat at the end, and lured him off the road. People were cheering and happy that he was finally safe. My faith in humanity has been restored!
