Traffic was awful this morning!! I drive the boys every morning to school from EastLake to San Diego. We try to make the most of our hour morning commute: daily devotions, sing alongs and morning radio show memories. This morning there were accidents everywhere and we were stupidly late! I came in through the doors like I always do in the morning and became so discouraged...theres still soooooo much work to be done before we move in. More longgggg hours of traffic up ahead. So what do I do when discouragement settles in? I get on my knees and start thanking God for this home that will some day be our dream come true. Do you know what happens when you show an attitude of gratitude in sad times? Yup! Your spirit cant help but find all the blessings you do have to be thankful for. I know that life isnt rainbows all the time. Im sorry if my positive spin on everything gets old...but I see the good in everything and I see opportunities where I can grow as a human and as a Christ follower. Had to share how good God is in moments of discouragement. He wraps us up and encourages our minds during these moments❤️ Im walking out these doors grateful! Way better than how I walked in!
