Tragedy struck the community of Tillburg in the Netherlands on Thursday after 13-year-old Anna van Keulen passed away from injuries sustained in a bicycle accident on her commute to school. https://youtube/watch?v=AJltZEOGJPg Many people would say, what kind of God would allow this?. Many people lose their faith when this kind of stuff happens. Beautiful and talented little girl dies from an absurd accident. There are so many of these stories a year. How do we deal with it? Another difficult question for our Apologetics group. Its on the list of 10. Its one of the hardest questions there. We will get to it soon, and there are answers, but there is absolutely nothing easy about it, and anyone who says its easy is not being honest. If it was easy, Jesus would not weep in the following passage. From John 11: Now when Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet, saying to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, he was deeply movede in his spirit and greatly troubled. 34 And he said, “Where have you laid him?” They said to him, “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus wept. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.d Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die What is our choice then? Believe Jesus, or this little girls life was absolutely meaningless. A product of a mindless universe that neither knows nor cares. I for one sir, refuse to believe the latter.
