We are currently looking to appoint Trainee Asbestos Removal Operatives and Experienced Operatives to work in London on a project for 8 months which may lead to a permanent position. An Asbestos Removal Operative is required to conduct site set up and safe abatement of asbestos containing materials according to the method statement and scope of works. Operatives may be asked to work on Rhodar sites nationwide that will include working away from home. They will also be required to work various shift patterns including weekends and night shifts. The successful candidate will possess a combination of qualities including: Clean Driving Licence Friendly, calm and professional manner Ability to be flexible and adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team Experienced Operatives must possess a combination of qualities including: Two years’ experience as a qualified Operative Good knowledge of current H+S and asbestos regulations Start Date 15th December. Full training will be given to trainees. Salary: Trainees: £78 - £90 per day DOE. Experienced Operatives £100 - £120 per day. plus overtime + allowances for working weekends, nights. 20 days holiday (+ statutory bank holidays) pro-rata.
