Training Tip Of The Day as of 7 Nov 13: Mind/Muscle Connection. Whether a beginner, Intermediate or Advance person that works out, keep in mind The Mind/Muscle Connection. Weight training is not just about moving the weight. Visualize the muscle or muscles being worked, feel the CONTRACTION, the SWELL, the PUMP in ur muscles. Try this Mind/Muscle Tip that I use. Take the bicep, which is an easy muscle 2 try this on. Make a muscle with ur bicep, no weight, squeeze the bicep, squeezing the bicep does not necessarily mean bringing ur arm all the way up, but just squeeze it, 10 should be enough, did U feel the muscle working? If so, thats how it should feel when U have a weight in ur hand. Every rep counts, dont lose sight of why ur going 2 the gym, ur going 2 TRAIN & BUILD MUSCLE. It doesnt take a lot of weight, but it does take focus on what ur doing. So the next time ur in the gym try focusing on ur training a little harder & watch ur muscle GROW. Lets Get It In...Together
