Training through adventure for people on Job Seekers Allowance aged 18+ in B&H! Sign up through your Job Centre Advisor now for a taster session on Tue 1st or Wed 2nd October! Programme to take place over 7 days between 7th & 18th October. Adventure Training at Work Adventure Unlimited is offering Job Seekers immensely enjoyable training through outdoor adventure to boost confidence and develop skills for employment. Activities may include climbing and rock scrambling, obstacles and zip wire, team challenges and bushcraft. Develop your confidence, motivation initiative and leadership; gain AQA awards in risk management, team work, problem solving and communication skills and certificates in Emergency First Aid At Work (with paediatric endorsement), Food Safety and Sports Leadership; learn about work appropriate language and behaviour; get support with demonstrating all these achievements in job applications; and access job search support. No experience needed, all abilities catered for. Suitable participants may also be offered 8 weeks’ voluntary work experience with Adventure Unlimited after the course as Adventure Activity Assistants, helping to deliver adventure education to disadvantaged local young people, with opportunities for further training and references.
