Transformation Tuesday! What are you doing TODAY to make your soul happy?! I think I used to be like you. I just wanted to get rid of my negative thoughts. I used to feel like I was STUCK, that they would just creep in. I found a way to change my inner dialogue. I started with making a list, and using it as triggers to beat the bad guys. Now I want to share it with you... GET RID OF YOUR INNER NEGATIVE NANCY in 5 steps: 1) Make a list of EVERYTHING that makes you happy. Think in terms of your 5 senses. Write down EVERYTHING that you enjoy seeing, doing, eating, touching, feeling, etc. 2) Look at your list and look for patterns. These patterns can be nature, music, or people. *If you dont see a pattern, no worries, you already placed that in your head and trust me, they will appear later. 3) Pick ONE thing as your trigger. And make it into an action sentence: Whenever I see ______, I will _________. For example, I love hugs. So my trigger was Whenever I see HUGS, I will remember ALL of the abundant LOVE in the world that is around me. When you start using those happy things in your life as triggers for HAPPINESS and GOODNESS, your negative thoughts have NO ROOM in your life. 4) Use your one trigger for 21 days. Studies show a new habit can form in 21 days when used CONSISTENTLY. Physically write your trigger on a post it and put it in a place where you go first thing in the morning. For example, if you reach for your phone first thing, put it next to your phone. You can also put it next to your bathroom mirror :0). 5) Tell someone about your trigger. Ask that person to hold you accountable. You need to check in with that person daily. Text, call, or email them AS SOON as you see your trigger. This will help you stay accountable. AND isnt it wonderful when you have a cheerleader rooting for you!? ***REPEAT THE SAME PROCESS EVERY 21 DAYS. When you think/feel you are ready, add 1 more trigger to your other trigger. After a couple of months, you will see how many happy things there are in the world!!! Tag and share with a friend who would love this! LOVE NEVER FELT SO GOOD, YALL! Yes, things happen in our lives for heartache, but it is our choice on how we internalize it. There is so much love and abundance in this world. We just need to TRAIN our BRAINS for it!
